In the last article, of this series, I covered creating a location, which is the first part of the key to the inventory posting setup. The second part of the key is the inventory posting group; while the location specifies the where, the inventory posting group specifies the type of item (such as retail, trade, service and so on).
Inventory posting groups are created through the Inventory Posting Groups list page, which you can find by doing a search through the Tell me what you want to do. To create a new one, all you need to do is enter the Code and Description:
