With the bins now created for the location (either manually or in bulk), the bin contents can now be configured. This does not mean adding items to the system, but setting the system up to know which items will be placed in which bins.
The first step is to create a bin creation worksheet name; do this by searching for Bin Creation Worksheet Templates:
Enter a name of a worksheet template and on the action bar click Related » Template » Names; a Name and Location Code are required, with the option of also adding a Description:
With the template name set up, we can now do the main part of configuring the bin contents. Search for Bin Content Creation Worksheet and pick the worksheet template name created above in the Name field.
The list view at the bottom is where you enter a combination of Bin Code and Item No. on each row for the items you want assigned to bins. If you know which bin is going to be the default, there is a Default checkbox on each row which you can mark; an error will be shown if more than one row for an item has the default marked.
Once all bin/item combinations have been entered, click the Create Bin Content button on the action bar:
When prompted, click Yes to create the bin content:
Once the process is complete, you will be presented with a blank bin content creation worksheet for the next set to be configured.
