This post is part of the In Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central (Inventory and Warehouse Management), how do I… series and of the wider In Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, how do I… series which I am posting as I familiarise myself with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.

Warehouse Complexity | Description | Settings | Bins |
---|---|---|---|
None | Posting from orders and journals | None | Optional |
Basic | Order-by-order | Require Put-away Require Pick |
Optional |
Basic | Consolidated receive/ship posting for multiple orders | Require Receipt Require Shipment |
Optional |
Advanced | Consolidated receive/ship posting for multiple orders. Consolidated pick/put-away activities for multiple source documents. |
Require Receipt Require Shipment Require Put-away Require Pick |
Optional |
Advanced | Same as above plus Directed pick/put-away activities | Directed Pick and Put-away | Mandatory |
