This post is part of the In Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central (Inventory and Warehouse Management), how do I… series and of the wider In Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, how do I… series which I am posting as I familiarise myself with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.
Over the last few posts of this series, I’ve taken a look at the receipt and put-away processes in Business Central, how they are enabled and how they are processed, and, in the last post, on how the process works when both are enabled.
The processes covered so far are for when processing put-away instructions for individual orders or groups of orders where the put-aways are handled one by one. There is functionality in Business Central to facilitate planning put-aways for multiple receipts, which will allow warehouses to operate more efficiently.
