The sixteenth new feature is Option To Not Display Inactive Checkbooks in Lookup. This feature allows users to hide inactive checkbooks when performing a lookup.
When doing a lookup on Checkbook ID, click the blue bar above the list and select Exclude Inactive Checkbooks:
The inactive checkbooks will be removed from the list.
The setting is a per user one which is not remembered between logins, which will make it less useful if you have inactive checkbooks. I’m not sure how much use this function will be; perhaps my clients are unusual, but not that many of the have unused checkbooks. Sometimes this is because their main account will be a current account with a Checkbook ID of
CURRENT which will continue to be used even if they change banks.
