Microsoft have recently announced a new Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central Developer Associate certification which will be available from January 2024, via the MB-820: Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central Developer (beta) examination.
Business Central developers create apps that extend the solution—whether developing new modules or modifying existing ones—and are responsible for troubleshooting and debugging issues in the system. There are no prerequisites for the certification; to gain it, you just need to pass the exam.
This brings the developer role inot parity with that of the functional consultant, which already has a certification which is gained by passing the Exam MB-800: Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central Functional Consultant.
