After updating one of my Microsoft Certifications earlier this month , I have today taken and passed the MB3-701 Microsoft Dynamics GP 2013 Financials exam.
This gives me both of the current Microsoft Dynamics GP 2013 certifications which are available. I am looking out for an update to the Inventory & Order Processing certification in the hopes Microsoft produce one.
I updated one of my Microsoft Certifications yesterday by taking the MB3-700 Microsoft Dynamics GP 2013 Installation & Configuration exam.
The exam was fairly similar to the GP 2010 version I took a while ago, but this time round had a number of questions on the Web Client. Fairly fortunate that I’ve started writing a series of posts on it.
I’m looking to do the Financials exam later in the month and, if one is released, would like to get the Inventory & Order Processing certificate updated as well.
Well, I’m just back from the Prometric test centre with an updated Microsoft Dynamics GP certification. I gained the Microsoft Dynamics GP 10 Financials certification a few years back and, as it was about to expire, I’ve just been and passed the GP 2010 replacement.
The new one is MB3-859 Microsoft Dynamics GP 2010 Financials.
A bit like the GP 2010 Installation & Configuration certificate I passed the other week, I can’t help but feel the timing is bad with the new version about to expire, it is driven by the certiifcation requirements of Microsoft for partners.

I’ve just returned from the test centre with my MB2-866 Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2011 Customization & Configuration certification giving me three certs for Dynamics CRM, three for Dynamics GP and the Managing Dynamics Implementations (SureStep) cert.
I had memory problems on Thursday when I left work for the weekend (I forgot to take the USB pen drive containing my blog home with me) so couldn’t get the Management Reporter client installation blog post completed and uploaded; I’ll do that at lunchtime today.
Earlier this morning I passed the MB2-868 Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2011 Applications certification giving me two certs for Dynamics CRM, three for Dynamics GP and the Managing Dynamics Implementations (SureStep) cert.
Normal service for blog posts will soon be resumed.
I was out of the office last week learning about Microsoft Dynamics CRM and have passed the MB2-867 Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2011 Installation & Deployment certification; a nice addition to the three Microsoft Dynamics GP certs I already have.
Any items of interest I encounter about Dynamics CRM which relate to GP, such as the CRM-GP Connector, will be shared here.
I’ve been a bit quiet again this week posting wise, but this was because I was preparing for a Microsoft Certification exam yesterday.
Fortunately, I passed and am now the holder of a Managing Microsoft Dynamics Implementation certification along side the three Dynamics GP certs I already had; GP 10 Installation & Configuration, GP 10 Financials and GP 2010 Inventory & Order Processing.
I’ve taken a look at the Certification Planner on Microsoft Learning to see how far I am from an MCITP in Installation & Configuration for Microsoft Dynamics GP. I think I’m one certification away but it’s slightly hard to tell as the planner hasn’t been updated with the GP 2010 exams.
Good news to end the week on. I’ve just returned home from the Prometric test centre with a brand new Microsoft Dynamics GP certification to add to my existing two.
The new one is MB3-862 Microsoft Dynamics GP 2010 Inventory & Order Processing.
