I have now fully updated the azurecurve|GP Table Reference for Microsoft Dynamics GP 2018 RTM as well as adding the first few ISV products
A total of six new products have been added during the latest update.
Standard modules added are (I’m not entirely sure why these hadn;t already been added, but assume it is to do with them being more focused to the UK market; certainly DDR is):
- Direct Debits & Refunds (8811)
- Scheduled Installments (1150)
The added ISV products are:
- Advanced Bank Reconciliation (2440) from Nolan Business Solutions
- Extender (3107) from eOne Solutions
- MIS-AMS Extensions (3459) which is now maintained by Perfect Image, but not generally commercially available.
- SmartList Builder (3830) from eOne Solutions
I am going to be adding additional ISV products to the site as well, look for lighter tiles ; if you work for an ISV, or use ISV products, and want the tables added to the GP Table Reference, please get in touch with details of what you want adding.
The Mekorma products are currently on my list of the next ISV products to be added.
Either Microsoft have added a hell of a lot of new tables to Microsoft Dynamics GP 2018 RTM or I had a lot more missing tables on the azurecurve|GP Table Reference than I thought I did (I knew the Email tables were missing).
I know I have added the tables for five missing products:
- Advanced Security
- Analysis Cubes for Excel
- Excel-Based Budgets
- Report Scheduler
- Technical Service Tools
However, overall there was 991 tables added to the site, suggesting a lot of missing tables have been added, as I know these five products do not have that many tables.
I am going to be adding ISV products to the site as well, look for lighter or darker blue tiles (I’ve not yet decided on the colour); if you work for an ISV, or use ISV products, and want the tables added to the GP Table Reference, please get in touch with details of what you want adding.
I’m in the process of preparing to update the GP Table Reference for Microsoft Dynamics GP 2018 RTM, but have had some data almost ready to add for a while. Unfortunately, I’ve not had time to do it until now.
Hopefully the 2018 update will be done soon, but in the meantime I have added the Cashbook Bank Management (Product ID 1058) tables to the site.
I’ve been a bit busy recently and so updated to the GP Table Reference site have lagged a little more than intended.
However, I have made two changes this weekend:
- Technical Groups have been removed from the navigation – these seemed to be confusing some people, especially the “No Table Group” ones.
I will be looking at navigation again in future, so if there is any particular functionality you might want, please get in touch and let me know.
- Table order has been updated so they are displayed in Physical Name order.
I am open to making changes to the site which will improve the usability or accuracy, so if there is anything you feel will be an improvement, please let me know.
I have deployed my URL Shortener plugin on the Microsoft Dynamics GP Table Reference site which should assist you in locating the page for a table when you already know the table’s physical name.
If, for example, you wanted to view the page for PM Key Master File (PM00400) you would, without the URL shortener, have to type the full page string:
With the URL shortener, all you need is the table name:
To load the page for the table you want (and this is for any of the GP tables on the site), just type gpt.azrcrv.co.uk/ followed by the table name you want to see.
I know they’re not the shortest URLs in the world, but they should be a big help for viewing the tables when you know the table name and want field information.
On Thursday last week, I introduced the new Microsoft Dynamics GP Table Reference I was in the process of creating and said I’d be adding new products soon.
Well, I got it done a bit quicker than I thought, and now have all of the Microsoft Dynamics GP modules loaded.
I will be adding ISV products through time, but if there are any in particular which you want to me to progress sooner, then please drop me a note using the contact form.
There are a fair number of really good resources out there on Microsoft Dynamics GP, but, unfortunately, some of them disappear through time.
One of the casualties was the GP Table Reference, which closed down a while ago. I’m not sure who was behind the site, but it has been missed.
To that end, I have started building a new site to live alongside this one; the Microsoft Dynamics GP Table Reference. The site is a work in progress, and will likely always be.
At present it has the main Microsoft Dynamics GP products tables along with the tables for Fixed Assets (product 309), Purchase Order Enhancements (product 2277) and Revenue Expense Deferrals (product 1045).
I will be adding products soon and will continue adding them until I have all of the first party products and will then look to start adding some of the more popular/common ISV ones.
I’ll also be adding some further explanations and to the fields, such as the one already added to the LOCNCODE field in Purchase Order Line (POP10110).
I hope people find the site useful; if you do use it and spot any issues, or want anything adding, please get in touch and let me know.
