Coming Soon: Microsoft Dynamics GP 2013 Cookbook

Microsoft Dynamics GPWith an expected release date of June 2013, the Microsoft Dynamics GP 2013 Cookbook is to be released.

This is an update to the Microsoft Dynamics GP 2010 by Mark Polino, which was released three years ago. With the new version of Dynamics GP 2013 being released in December last year, it was time for a new version of the book to be written and with Mark was otherwise engaged writing the Building Dashboards with Microsoft Dynamics GP 2013 and Excel 2013 so Packt Publishing approached me and asked if I would write the update.

So, in June this year the Microsoft Dynamics GP 2013 Cookbook by Ian Grieve and Mark Polino will be released;

Posting Hiatus Of Unknown Length

You’ll have noticed a delay since my last post early last week. This is due to an unexpected hospitalisation resulting in emergency surgery from which I am now recovering.

While recovering I will be off work and not have access to my usual materials. I am viewing this as a good thing as it will allow me to focus on gettin better.

Hopefully, this will be a quick process and I will be back fit and healthy soon.

New Mobile Theme Added To azurecurve

azurecurveI’ve just added a mobile theme to the site which will display the first time you visit the site on a smart phone; if you want the normal desktop theme then you can scroll right down to the bottom of the page and disable it.

If you notice any problems with the theme let me know and I’ll see about fixing it (I won’t see the problem myself as I don’t have a smart phone so if you see an issue please let me know).

Apology for Lack of Updates

azurecurveJust a quick update to apologise for the lack of updates.

I’m currently stressing out about a house purchase I’m trying to get through as soon as possible (with concerns I may actually lose the house if it doesn’t exchange soon). For the regular readers out there (I assume there are some) I moved back to the NE in September last year to start a new job as consultant with Perfect Image, specialising in Microsoft Dynamics GP and sidelining in Dynamics CRM, and this is the final step for me to complete the move.

Once the purchase completes and I can stop stressing I’ll get back to posting; I have a backlog of posts not just related to the recently started series of posts on PSTL but also other areas of the system and related products.

Of course, once it does complete I’ll be project managing a renovation which will probably also cause me to stress out but I doubt as much as the purchase is (Bloody Hell I hope not anyway).

Hopefully back soon with some useful posts.

Site Email Problem

azurecurveIt’s just come to my attention that neither azurecurve nor the other sites I run have not been sending emails since early February.

I’ve reported this to my hosting provider and hopefully it will be fixed soon.

If you’ve tried contacting me recently, please email blog[at]azurecurve.co.uk and I’ll get back to you as soon as I can.

If you’ve tried registering with the site, get in touch and let me know the user name you joined with and I’ll see about getting your account enabled.
